Here are some scary films guaranteed to give you some really good Halloween movie fun on Halloween night. Some are classic horror films. some are foreign horror films- Japanese and Italian horror films have made quite an impact on the horror genre. Some are more modern, scary movies, pyschological dramas, etc. that are more off the beaten path. And some deal with favorite scary things we know and love, like monsters and haunted hiouses. But all have those moments that grip your attention, make your heart skip a beat, or in the case of a few, have your head rolling in the aisles. (Still attached to your body, of course. We think. ) If you're wondering why a movie isn't on this list, well, it's 'cause we're really picky and we only include movies that we think will stand the test of time, or already have. My rule is--if you aren't going to want to see a movie more than once, it's not good enough to make this list. And in most cases, I haven't listed sequels (unless the sequel stands on it's own as a really good film), only the movie that made the mark that made all the sequels possible. So if your heart is set on something you don't see, feel free to search for the title of your choice.
