Dune--Mystery and Legend that has become a part of our culture....Despite the stewardship of 
David Lynch, the movie,  though pretty good, fell short, in my estimation, so don't cheat yourself
by not reading the books because you already saw the film!  Nothing against David Lynch, who is 
one of my all-time favorite film directors--it's just that the experience of reading these books is a
lot to live up to...
