German Shorthaired Pointers

Before Auntie Caryn loved me, she loved a German Shorthaired pointer named Willie (short for Wilhelmina). This is Auntie Caryn and Willie hanging out in their parents' house. (Willie was a Babe in her day) Hard to believe she was the mother of 17 puppies!

The puppies are very cute. They make Auntie Caryn remember Willie. I can tell Auntie Caryn misses Willie very much. Even though I am most certain that I am (and will always be) her favorite Boy--Willie was the Girl doggie friend Auntie Caryn had from birth to whom she told all of her secret hopes and fears from childhood until Willie died when Auntie Caryn was 17. I'm not jealous--Boys and Girls are different. She must have been something else. I wish I had been alive then to sniff her...
