Does this band have great taste or what?! Black
Lab!! What a great name--of course it was love
at first sniff! Now, personally, I like your body next to me, preferably
with your arms and hands
somewhere in the vicinity of my belly. And I'm not that sure about the whole
washing away thing
either--I hate baths, even though I do like the ocean and certainly love
to chase the ducks while
I'm swimming up and down the Venice Canals (Auntie Caryn and Mommy say I'm
very naughty
when I do that--apparently it's illegal and certainly not what the neighbors
expect!)
But then a band like this one comes along, and
says it all so honestly and earnestly that I almost
believe my next bath will take on a whole new level of meaning. I was abused
when I was a
puppy, and sometimes people still scare me a little, even when I know that
Mommy and Auntie
Caryn would never let anything bad happen to me. I'm in training class right
now,mainly
because Mommy didn't like that I tried to show my new little sister Georgie who
was boss.
(I admit I got a little rough, but this having to listen thing is a real
drag) Part of my training
is to try to help me feel more secure about people and take cues from my
humans about who is
good and who is bad, since they seem to know a lot more about these people
in a lot of cases. I want
to be a good boy. I do...really. And a good big brother. And I don't want
to feel like I have to hide
under the table every time some of Mommy's or Auntie Caryn's friends come
over. Let the high wind
blow it away (I LOVE wind--lots of good smells come in it)...Say what about
this wasted fear. How
can i just turn and wash it away. If I can then i will wash it away...
Now, you can't have this Black Lab. They belong
to Northern California. But check out these places --you might
find out you just plain fall in love...
