Purim
Feast- Dinner Recipes
The
sheer number of feasts that King Ahashuerus and Queen Ester
give during the course of the Story of Purim is truly astounding,
but it is for this very reason that the holiday of Purim is
very much connected with feasting, food & wine--to pay homage
to the feasts of the Kind and Queen. Here you find main course,
recipes fit for a Purim feast! Foods that speak
to a Persian influence, in honor of Queen Esther, as well as
some vegetarian and vegan Purim dinner recipes, because when
Queen Esther was hiding the fact she was a Jew while living
in the King's Court, however do you suppose
she kept kosher? Some therefore, think she may actually have
been the Vegan Queen. Maybe you never thought about that, but
it makes a lot of sense...doesn't it? Besides the recipes are
delicious and non-vegetarians won't even miss the meat!
