Ideas for Adult & Children's Purim Costumes
Purim, perhaps one of the most spirited Jewish holidays, is a time for Costumes, Noisemakers and treats. In fact, the rules say you are to drink until you can not distinguish between Haman (the bad guy) and Mordechai (the hero). This year, Purim starts at sundown on March 24th. It is celebrated with the reading of the Megillah, which tells the story of Queen Esther and how she saved her people from destruction. It is also a holiday for costuming and revelry, and many choose to dress for Purim in a King Costume, Queen Costume or Princess Costume.
