Supposedly
hardy and tolerant of shade, high salinity, and drought,
if left in an area it likes, bloodgrass will form
spreading colonies. One web site I visited had bloodgrass
classified as the seventh worst weed in the world! Apparently
not where I live, because mine died one sorry death,
and I've never seen a dandelion do that. Not even when
I think I've got the whole darn stem out of the ground.
