Although
its leaves do have a slight licorice flavor when crushed,
this is an ornamental herb rather than a culinary one, and
this is NOT the plant that licorice comes from. But it is
a very pretty silvery plant that looks terrific in a moon
garden. I probaby would grow the other kind of licorice
giving my penchant for filling my garden with herbs & edibles,
but..oh yeah. I hate licorice. Can't stand the stuff. So
that would be why I'm going for the color of the leaves in
this instance, not the taste.
